Prestigious investment firm looking for a Tax Associate to support internal clients including the CFO and finance group, as well as liaising with our accounting/ tax service providers.

Responsibilities:
• Help research and analyze tax issues with the CFO related to new and existing funds, complex securities, investment transactions, mergers and reorganizations.
• Assure compliance with new and existing tax laws
• Liaison with the accounting/ tax service providers and public accounting firms on developing tax policies and procedures
• Coordinate and review preparation of partnership tax returns and assure accurate and timely filing.
• Assist with tax reporting
• Evaluate impact of tax law changes, recommend and implement changes to tax and accounting policies as required.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Accounting (experience at a accounting/ tax service providers or public accounting firm a strong plus)
- Investment industry experience a plus
- Hedge funds or private equity experience
- Strong working knowledge of partnership and corporate tax
- Excellent analytical and communication skills .
